ABOUT THE ROLE
Site Based Position. Warehouse and Office Located in Thomastown, Victoria.
As Administration Assistant you will be working closely with the Customer Service and Marketing & Communications teams as an integral point of contact, support and timely information for Sales Executives, on premise, retail, online and private customers.
The position would suit a recent graduate or individual seeking to develop their career in the wine industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administrative support: Provide general administrative support to the team, including daily reception and supporting Sales Executives with scope of work.
Customer service: Be the first point of contact for phone, email, and in-person enquiries, delivering friendly and professional service, processing orders and assisting to monitor delivery confirmations.
Database and information management: Maintain and update company databases, trade and consumer portfolios, inventory system and web content to ensure all information is accurate and current.
Marketing and events assistance: Support the coordination of meetings and events, including preparing digital and print documents and materials.
Social media support: Assistance with the implementation of social media campaigns.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales and debtor reporting
Assisting with managing and ordering supplies for all business units
Assisting with coordinating annual events including biannual public sales
Assisting accounts receivable
Banking and receipt allocation
Other administrative duties as required
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR (SKILLS & EXPERIENCE)
Strong communications skills and the ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of the organisation
Excellent English skills and close attention to detail
An aptitude for problem-solving
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a 'can-do' attitude
Excellent time management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)
Ideally, experience working with inventory and accounting systems (Fishbowl/Reckon)
Previous customer service experience preferred
Experience with Adobe InDesign, Canva and Mailchimp e-marketing platform preferred but not essential
Wine industry knowledge or background would be an advantage

Starting salary of $60,000 - $72,000 + super
