Job Description
Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer - Avionics to support a world-class airborne surveillance, communications and battle management system. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering and experience working in the Avionics domain on civil or Defence aircraft.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop diverse engineering solutions for integrated avionics, COTS equipment and custom electrical power, simulation and control systems.
* Install system hardware infrastructure and associated connectivity.
* Develop engineering documentation and configuration management of system hardware infrastructure.
* Work with the project team to ensure the engineering scope is delivered within quality, schedule and budgetary constraints.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
* Familiarity with engineering change processes.
* Australian Citizenship.
* Experience working in the Avionics domain on civil or Defence aircraft.
* Commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement.
* Proven high level of written and oral communication skills.
* Experience working within a Technical Regulatory Framework.
