The Stores Team is a 12 member team who interact with other branches within Council on a daily basis.
Our work varies from day to day, including activities such as purchasing, stock handling either manually or by operating a variety of equipment, and managing both inventory stock and non-stock material.
We are a "go-to" team with a positive attitude towards our daily operations.

About the position
The Stores/Purchasing Officer position is responsible for the efficient and effective operation of stores, including ordering, receiving and issuing of store items and materials, along with management of non-stock material in accordance with policies and procedures.
This is a permanent full-time position based at the Charlton Depot.
The annual salary range for this position is $71,****** - $76,****** gross per annum, plus 17.5% annual leave loading and up to *****% superannuation.

How to be successful in this position
Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations or equivalent, and/or a combination of experience, qualifications, and competence, which enables the incumbent to perform all duties of the position.
Current Licence to Perform High Risk Work (Class LF-Forklift as a minimum).
Current "MR" Class Driver's Licence is desirable.
