About Us:
We're seeking a dedicated Parks Maintenance Operator to join our reliable team at the City of Armadale. As an integral part of our Technical Services Directorate, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the beauty and functionality of our parks, reserves, and streetscapes.
What You Will Be Working On:
* Operating waste collection vehicles efficiently and in line with approved practices, ensuring our parks remain clean and safe environments for the community.
* Collaborating with team members and supervisors to solve routine challenges in waste collection operations, demonstrating your problem-solving skills.
* Conducting daily maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety standards.
* Participating in a variety of roles within our Parks Operations, demonstrating your adaptability and willingness to contribute to various tasks.
About You:

* Truck driving experience, along with a current WA 'MR' or 'HR' class licence, to ensure safe and efficient operation of our waste collection vehicles.
* Flexibility and a proactive attitude, allowing you to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic team environment.
* Strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, representing the City of Armadale with professionalism and pride.
* Knowledge of safe work practices in a parks environment and a willingness to uphold our commitment to occupational health and safety.
* A passion for maintaining our natural environment, with experience in parks maintenance activities and basic asset maintenance considered advantageous.
