Role purpose:
Reporting into the Head of eCommerce, the eCommerce Specialist will be responsible for helping to drive quality e-commerce performance across Australia and New Zealand and channels that will lead to exceptional brand and commercial outcomes.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Strategic Priorities
* Execute the online trading and merchandising strategy to drive conversion & revenue growth - including product, price and promotion.
* Manage and execute the eCommerce content plan across the website and email channel in line with our marketing calendar
* Manage daily and weekly website and performance reporting of customer and traffic, conversions, AOV and revenue
* Execute the CRM strategy
* Support & execute SEO strategy together with the media agency
* Support the eCommerce Innovation Manager in rolling out projects, features & enhancements across sites - including CRO initiatives
* Support in site testing & technical analysis of ecommerce platforms
* Support in evaluating end-to-end customer experience across our ecommerce sites ), providing recommendations for improved UX and site performance.
* Serve as the primary liaison for Customer Service, managing website enquiries and providing troubleshooting support.
General Responsibilities
* Merchandising:
Continuously optimize the site and on-site products through regular content publishing and optimization to drive best possible sell-through.
* Content Management
: Manage and load all product information, imagery, content pages, and general website changes.
* Pricing and Promotion:
Execute all product pricing and promotions set up in line with marketing calendar and national promotion plan
* Email Marketing
: Execute all email marketing campaigns to drive engagement and customer retention
* Performance Marketing:
Support in execution of SEO strategies across the website
* Reporting:
Produce weekly eCommerce performance and post campaign reports on data and insights.
Essential:
* Min 3-5 years' experience in a similar role at a retail e-commerce company.
* Strong analytical skills and data-driven commercial thinking with solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) a must, with experience in Shopify advantageous
* Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising e-commerce and digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
* Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
* Experience with agency management is desirable
* Working knowledge of HTML development and constraints
* Must be commercially forward thinking with strong attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills and an eagerness to work collaboratively across departments and functions
* Excellent time and workload management with the ability to priorities all tasks assigned
* Excels in a rapidly changing and dynamic retail setting
* Highly effective within an evolving and accelerated retail landscape
