About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineering Associate to join our team. In this challenging role, you will be responsible for carrying out diagnostic tests on agricultural machinery and tractors, maintaining and repairing mechanical assemblies, and performing assessments and repairs in both field and workshop environments.
Key Responsibilities
* To run and analyze diagnostic tests on various types of agricultural machinery, equipment, and tractors.
* Maintain, test, and repair or replace mechanical assemblies on heavy plant/machinery and tractors.
* Carry out assessments and repairs in the field and workshop.
* Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks.
* Design and assemble new or modified mechanical components for products such as machinery, equipment, and measuring instruments.
* Ensure work is completed within timeframes and servicing schedules while maintaining accurate records.
* Install equipment and conduct testing operations.
Requirements
* Proven experience in mechanical engineering or related field.
* Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
* Able to work effectively in fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Familiarity with relevant tools and equipment.
