About the Role
Goulburn Base Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Surgical Ward. In this role, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures, supporting pre- and post-operative management in a fast-paced acute environment.
Requirements
* Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (RN)
* Competent in cannulation and venepuncture
* Experience in a surgical or acute ward setting
* Strong assessment, monitoring, and clinical decision-making skills
* Excellent teamwork and communication

Bed and Scope
The Surgical Ward provides postoperative care for a range of surgical specialties. Nurses support patient monitoring, wound care, IV therapy, pain management, surgical preparation, and discharge planning alongside a multidisciplinary team.
