The Role
We are seeking a friendly and reliable Medical Receptionist/Administrator to join our team on a casual basis (up to 15 hours per week, including Saturdays). You will play an important role in supporting patients, doctors, and healthcare professionals while ensuring the smooth running of the practice.
Key Responsibilities
 * Greeting patients and providing reception support.
 * Managing appointments and enquiries using medical software.
 * Processing Medicare, billing, and payments.
 * Assisting the Practice Manager and clinical team with administration tasks.
 * Maintaining confidentiality and ensuring a welcoming reception area.
Requirements
 * Strong administration and organisational skills.
 * Excellent communication and customer service.
 * Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook and Word)
 * Experience using medical practice management software (e.g., Best Practice, Medical Director, or similar).
 * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
 * A professional and patient-focused manner.
