Overview
South West United Hockey Club is the largest hockey club in the western suburbs of Brisbane. Catering to all standards of hockey players aged 5 to 80, the club participates in both grass and turf competitions. Founded in the early 1970s, it is based in the Graceville area of Brisbane yet attracts and welcomes players from all over Brisbane, South East Queensland, and Recent South Wales.
Role Description
This is a contract role for a Men's Hockey Head Coach to lead our team to success in Brisbane's competitive hockey scene. The candidate will communicate with our Coaching Director, club management and other stakeholders. This is an on-site role requiring transport to and from hockey venues around Brisbane.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Field Hockey
- Experience in Coaching and Training
- Ability to develop game strategies and mentor players
- Excellent leadership and organizational abilities
- Previous experience as a Hockey Coach would be beneficial
Requirements
- Training 2 days a week + weekend game day leadership
- Help shape the men's and boys development programs
