About Our Library Collections Role
Celebrate innovation and deliver solutions for the world by working as a collections coordinator.
This role leads a team providing access to one of the largest science collections in Australia, supporting research at Australia's national science agency.
The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day operations of the library facility, ensuring services meet or exceed key performance indicators and user expectations.
They will provide leadership and supervision to a team, taking responsibility for performance management and career development.
Additionally, they will actively manage a busy document delivery service, providing fast access to resources to both researchers and external libraries.
Other duties include leading efforts to transition digitisation initiatives to business-as-usual, increasing the online availability of published research.
They will also ensure that our print collection is a valued resource that users can easily find, access and request, and maintain the library as a welcoming space.

The Team
You will work collaboratively with teams and staff located at Black Mountain and across Australia.
What You Need To Apply
Effective team management skills and demonstrated ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork are essential. Extensive experience in managing a busy document delivery service and an awareness of relevant networks, sources, and systems are also required.
A record of accomplishment in managing programs to digitise print library resources, as well as experience in the management of a large print collection, are highly desirable.
