About the role
As an Elders Business Development Manager – Property Management, you will play a key role in identifying, developing, and executing strategic growth opportunities. Your focus will be on expanding our client base by generating a strong pipeline of potential new business, driving revenue growth within the property management sector. This role requires a proactive, results-driven professional who can build lasting relationships and contribute to the continued success of our property management division.
Responsibilities
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities through phone canvassing, door knocking, and targeted marketing.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships to grow the rent roll and drive revenue growth.
* Conduct market appraisals and present property management services to prospective clients.
* Convert proposals into management agreements and coordinate documentation ensuring legal compliance.
* Provide professional, accurate advice and maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and competitor activity.
* Maintain accurate CRM records and report on business development and client interactions.
* Network through industry events to generate referrals and collaborate with Sales to convert leads into new managements.
About you
To succeed at Elders, you :
* Previous experience in a similar business development role
* Relevant tertiary qualifications (desirable)
* Proven track record in developing and securing new business, includes canvassing, prospecting and marketing
* Experience in the local property market
* Strong client relationship and communication skills
* Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
* Sound computer and administration skills
* Solid understanding of applicable Real Estate legislation
* Current Property Management and / or Real Estate Licence, Certificate of Registration
* Driver's licence (essential)
