Details: Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) is looking for an experienced Project Manager, Campus Renewal to join the Facilities Operations and Campus Renewal branch. We are looking to fill a temporary position for a period of three months with a possibility of up to six months.
WHAT DO WE WANT?
CIT is seeking an experienced infrastructure and project management professional to fill the position of Project Manager, Campus Renewal within our Facilities Operations and Campus Renewal Branch.
The primary focus of this role is to provide essential administrative, technical, and professional support to ensure quality outcomes for Campus Renewal Projects. You will manage project lifecycles with a specific focus on infrastructure coordination, smart systems integration, and the creation of sustainable, inclusive learning environments.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As a member of the Campus Renewal (CR) team, you will play a crucial role in providing project management and stakeholder liaison services across CIT.
Reporting to the Director, Campus Renewal, you will be responsible for implementing a structured project management approach to the administration and delivery of campus modernisations. This includes:
* Supporting the plan, design, and renew phases of the asset lifecycle for major capital works.
* Acting as a direct liaison for internal and external stakeholders to maintain strategic partnerships.
* Identifying and mitigating project risks while ensuring compliance with ISO standards and legislative responsibilities.
* Preparing high-quality reports and ministerial correspondence for the CIT Executive and ACT Government.
* Supervising a small, dedicated team to meet tight deadlines and budgetary constraints.
WHAT DO I NEED?
To be successful in this position, you will need to have experience across a range of large-scale projects, complex documentation, and quality outcome management.
You must demonstrate the ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and model CIT's values.

Eligibility/ Other Requirements:
* Experience in a similar position will be highly regarded.
* Experience in infrastructure project management is highly advantageous.
* A relevant tertiary qualification is desirable.
