About the role
Mercure Townsville is seeking a part-time Reservationist to join our team in Townsville, QLD 4810. As a Reservationist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless guest experience by handling all hotel reservations and inquiries. What you'll be doing
* Responding promptly to guest inquiries and bookings via phone, email, and other communication channels
* Providing accurate information about room availability, rates, and hotel amenities
* Handling reservations, modifications, and cancellations in a professional and efficient manner
* Liaising with other departments, such as front desk and housekeeping, to ensure a smooth guest experience
* Providing excellent customer service and resolving any guest issues or concerns
* Maintaining accurate records and database management
* Assisting with other administrative tasks as required

* Previous experience in a reservations or customer service role within the hospitality industry
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide a personalized and friendly service
