We are seeking experienced and highly capable Nurse Practitioners to join our team, providing healthcare services to a client in the Oil and Gas industry in Karratha, Western Australia. This is a fly-in, fly-out (FIFO) prospect operating on a 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off roster. Positions are available on both a full-time fixed-term and casual basis, with a preference for Perth-based applicants.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver primary and emergency medical care to site personnel
- Lead clinical governance and support compliance with health standards
- Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures in collaboration with the Clinical Team Leader
- Manage occupational health rehabilitation and return-to-work programs
- Prescribe and monitor medications in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Participate in incident investigations and maintain accurate medical records
- Facilitate training and promote continuous clinical improvement
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse Practitioner with current AHPRA
- Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health or a minimum of three years of relevant work experience in occupational health
- Minimum of three years’ experience working in remote or resource-limited locations
- Demonstrated experience in occupational, emergency, and primary healthcare delivery
- Strong understanding of clinical governance, health and safety compliance, and patient-centred care
- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certifications
- White Card
- Excellent clinical judgement, leadership, and communication skills
What we offer
- Full-time fixed term position until 1 January 2027
- Annual salary of $196,218, plus 12% superannuation
