About the Role
This role involves building and embedding a proactive health and safety culture across teams.
Acting as a strategic partner to operations leaders, it will lead initiatives and manage risk effectively.
* Drive the implementation of HSE strategy, plans, and wellbeing initiatives through collaborative efforts.
* Provide expert guidance and practical support to operational leaders on HSE matters.
* Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly.
* Enhance capability through training, mentoring, and hands-on partnership with operational teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* To develop and embed a Proactive Health and Safety Culture
* To drive the implementation of TGE's HSE strategy, plans, and wellbeing initiatives
* To provide expert guidance and practical support to operational leaders
* To investigate incidents, identify root causes, and ensure corrective actions are taken
* To build capability through training, mentoring, and hands-on partnership
Requirements:
* A degree in a related field such as occupational health and safety or business management
* Professional certifications in areas such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHADegree holders must have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role
* The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills
