Youth Wellbeing Clinician Role Overview
As a Youth Wellbeing Clinician, you will collaborate with 360 Health + Community to provide vital support for young people aged 12 to 25 who are vulnerable or navigating challenging transitions in care. This role involves offering flexible, trauma-informed and recovery-oriented assistance that enables young people to stabilise, set goals and access suitable ongoing services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing short-term outreach and intervention to young people and families.
* Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing care plans that prioritise the needs and strengths of the young person.
* Supporting families and carers to understand mental health and foster protective relationships.
* Building partnerships with schools, general practitioners, community organisations and other mental health services to coordinate care effectively.
* Delivering evidence-informed interventions and referrals that are culturally sensitive and inclusive.
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualification and professional registration in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Counselling, or another approved field.
* A valid Working with Children Check and National Police Certificate less than six months old (or an active application process).
* Experience working in the youth mental health sector with high-risk young people, LGBTQIA+ individuals, First Nations communities and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse groups.
