Thread Group Australia is seeking a Head of Sales & Client Partnerships to lead the next phase of our national expansion.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for generating new revenue opportunities, building long-term client partnerships, and supporting the ongoing success of our national uniform programs.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the growth trajectory of the business while leading and supporting our client‐facing team.
This role is suited to someone who is commercially driven, proactive, and motivated by winning new business and building meaningful partnerships.
This role is a full time role in our office located in Cheltenham, with local and national travel when required.

The Role
The Head of Sales & Client Partnerships will be responsible for driving new client acquisition while supporting and leading our existing client services function.
You will focus on identifying and securing new uniform programme opportunities with medium and large Australian organisations and working closely with our internal team to ensure successful implementation and ongoing growth.
This is a highly proactive role requiring consistent outreach, strong commercial capability and a genuine drive to grow the business.
Key Responsibilities Growth & New Business
* Identify, target, and secure new uniform programme opportunities across Australia
* Conduct proactive outreach through telephone, email, LinkedIn, and networking
* Build relationships with procurement leaders, executives, and key decision‐makers
* Manage the full sales lifecycle from initial contact through to contract execution
* Travel nationally to meet with prospective and existing clients
Leadership & Team Support
* Support and oversee our National Account Management, Customer Service, and Project Management functions
* Work closely with the Director on growth strategy and business direction
* Assist with onboarding and transitioning new client programmes
Commercial & Strategic
* Identify new industries and market opportunities
* Contribute to strategic growth planning
* Represent Thread Group professionally in the market
About You
You are a proactive, commercially minded professional who thrives on creating new opportunities and building relationships.
You are confident initiating conversations, developing partnerships, and driving outcomes.
You are motivated to play a key role in the growth of an ambitious Australian business.
You will ideally have
* 5+ years' experience in B2B sales, business development, or client partnerships
* Experience working with medium to large organisations
* Strong communication and relationship‐building skills
* A proactive and self‐driven mindset
* Willingness to travel nationally
Highly advantageous
* Experience in uniforms, apparel, textiles, or related industries
* Experience managing or supporting key client accounts
