Trainee Branch Manager / Operations Supervisor
Steamatic North Queensland – Mackay
Looking to step off the tools and into a leadership role?
Steamatic North Queensland is seeking a motivated Trainee Branch Manager / Operations Supervisor to join our Mackay team, with a clear pathway to grow into a Branch Manager role over time.
This position suits someone with experience in trades, construction, insurance repairs, or facilities maintenance who is ready to move into leadership while still remaining hands-on.
Steamatic specialises in water damage restoration, mould remediation, fire recovery and specialist cleaning services. When properties are damaged, we're the team that steps in to make things right. Our clients include insurers, builders, property managers and commercial facilities across the Mackay region.
This role offers a genuine opportunity to learn the business from the ground up and progress into full branch leadership.
The Role
You will work alongside our operational team while learning the systems, equipment and processes used in the restoration industry. Over time, you will take on increasing responsibility across job assessment, team leadership and branch operations.
Key responsibilities include:
* Assessing water, mould and fire damage at properties

* Leading small teams on restoration projects
* Scheduling jobs and managing workflow
* Liaising with insurers, builders and property managers
* Managing job costs and maintaining professional reporting standards
