Job Description
Your new company Located north side Canberra, this business has been operating for over 50 years. They supply structural building products for both residential and commercial construction and are a key manufacturer in the ACT market. Your new role
In this position you will work Monday to Friday 6am - 2:30pm following the direction of the production manager. You will work on the production line, reading drawings, operating machinery, using basic hand and power tools such as nail guns and manually lifting products as required to shift them into position. What you'll need to succeed
Experience in a factory or construction setting, specifically reading drawings and using power tools A strong focus and good attitude to workplace health and safety for both yourself and others The physical capability to perform all manual handling and tool/machine operation safely and without restrictions.
A LF forklift licence would be an advantage, but isn't essential Be a reliable team player who consistently shows up for shifts and works well with the team What you'll get in return
Start ASAP in a full-time role Potential for permanency after a probation period on a labour hire contract Above-award casual rate - $35 per hour
