Healthcare professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality care to rural and remote communities have a unique opportunity to join our team as a Mental Health Nurse. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic and comprehensive Mental Health, Alcohol & other Drug and Wellbeing Team that provides clinical care across the stepped mental health care model.
This position is based in Dubbo, where you will work closely with a dedicated team of clinical and community engagement professionals to deliver a coordinated clinical-care and therapeutic service to clients living with a chronic mental illness. The role requires a credentialed Mental Health Nurse (with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses ACMHN) or the ability to work towards registration with AHPRA, as well as postgraduate experience of at least two years in a clinical role.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience or demonstrated understanding of working in rural / remote / population health, including experience working in cross-cultural environments, with rural/remote clients in pastoral settings, and with families, couples and groups.
