You could be one of our 3100 committed team members who are up to the challenge.About the roleReporting to the Project Delivery Manager, our new Solution Architect will be responsible for developing Business Application solutions that align with the enterprise architecture and meet business needs.The successful candidate will be heavily involved with influencing technology investment strategies, designing scalable solutions, as well as aligning software development and AWS Cloud Native strategies with the Group Strategy.The position requires exceptional technical skills to lead innovative business solutions at V/Line whilst also engaging with stakeholders to execute business application strategies.About youOur ideal candidate will also possess the following:Strong Architectural experience architecting, designing and implementing System Integrations, Microservices, Service Orientated Architecture, and AWS Cloud Native solutionsDemonstrated experience in leading the creation and execution of technical proof of concepts to test new ideas, practices and technologiesMust have 5+ years’ experience successfully working as a Solution Architect, delivering and applying knowledge at an expert levelDemonstrated ability to work/think strategically, influencing senior stakeholders to maximise return on technology investmentProven analytical skills - for interpreting and translating business requirements into solutions, analysing current state solutions to a deep technical degree, required to develop an effective solution architectureDemonstrated stakeholder engagement skills - able to converse and present comfortably and concisely to executive leaders and technology specialistsProven ability to provide technical leadership to support adoption of new technology or approaches, to help realise the benefits to the organisationSolution Architect certifications in Microsoft or AWS (desirable)Tertiary qualifications in IT or related fields (desirable)Remuneration for this position will be commensurate to the successful candidate’s aligned experience and skillset to this position.In addition to free Myki travel, we offer:Community impact – Make a genuine difference.
