Full time; approximately 38 hours per week

We are seeking 2 passionate and skilled Bakers to join our growing team

* Must be available for flexible scheduling, including shifts starting as early as 4:00 AM through to 12:00 PM
* Full-time permanent positions offering approximately 38 hours weekly

We're looking for dedicated Bakers to become part of our energetic team. You'll be responsible for crafting, baking, and decorating an extensive variety of pastries, cakes, breads, and desserts while maintaining exceptional standards of quality, presentation, and food safety protocols.

Primary Duties

* Craft, bake, and complete various pastries, cakes, breads, desserts, and bakery products following established recipes and proven techniques
* Accurately measure, blend, and combine ingredients to ensure uniform quality and consistent taste profiles
* Handle and service bakery machinery, including ovens, mixers, molds, and specialized equipment, maintaining safe and efficient operation standards
* Oversee the baking process to guarantee products achieve required quality benchmarks for texture, flavor, and visual appeal
* Artistically decorate and showcase baked products in attractive and imaginative ways that reflect our brand identity
* Create and experiment with new recipes or seasonal specialty items to expand our product range
* Uphold cleanliness and systematic organization of bakery workspace, ensuring adherence to food safety and sanitation standards (HACCP knowledge advantageous)
* Track and control inventory quantities, including procurement of supplies and waste reduction strategies
* Work alongside chefs, pastrycooks, and kitchen team members to guarantee seamless operations and punctual production schedules
* Guide and educate junior team members or apprentices in baking methodologies and operational processes
* Guarantee proper storage and display of all baked products to preserve freshness and maintain quality standards
* Respond to customer feedback and implement recommendations to enhance our product selection

Essential Requirements

* Execute responsibilities as assigned by your manager/supervisor
* Follow company policies and procedures consistently
* Be available for work seven days per week, potentially including evening shifts and select public holidays (shift commencement may be as early as 4:00 AM)
* Function effectively in a high-energy team setting and maintain clear communication with customers and colleagues
* Demonstrate verified experience of minimum 1 year as a Baker or comparable position
* Hold Certificate III or IV in Baking or equivalent credentials (highly desirable)
