We specialise in delivering custom and complex engineering solutions, including piping & spooling fabrication for oil & gas clients.
THE ROLE
Maintain compliance in line with the technical standards for Tier 1 oil & gas clients, ensuring we are consistent with project goals and operational.
Working closely with Operations and Project teams, monitoring and maintaining compliance throughout the fabrication processes and project deadlines.
* Conduct visual inspections of fabricated items, including piping and spooling
* Monitor welding activity to maintain compliance standards and specifications
* Review and maintain weld procedures (WPS), Procedure Qualification Records (PQRs) and welder qualifications (WQR)
* Coordinate and verify NDE / NDT procedures and personnel, third party testing and inspections
* Maintain weld maps and traceability sheets, including identifying and marking weld repairs and conducting heat input logs
* Identify, trouble-shoot and problem solve defects with corrective actions for sustained compliance to project technical requirements
* Oversee quality document deliverables that are accurate, timely and efficient
* Support team learning and promote continuous improvement philosophy
ABOUT YOU
* Experience in steel and piping fabrication environment for oil & gas / energy sector
* Understanding of Technical specifications required for Tier 1 clients
* Ability to read and interpret complex isometric drawings and P&ID,
* Comprehensive knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations including AS/NZS, ISO 3834, ASME B31.3, ASME IX, API, AWS
* Ability to interpret NDE / NDT reports
* Safety is crucial – be pro-active in maintaining a safe work environment
QUALIFICATIONS, LICENCES & TICKETS
* CSWIP 3.1 Weld Inspector Certification (Mandatory). CSWIP 3.2 (Desirable)
* Construction Safety Awareness (White Card / Blue Card)
