About The Role
The Analyst supports the planning, administration and execution of restructuring and recovery engagements. This includes undertaking fieldwork, investigations, statutory reporting, financial analysis and stakeholder correspondence under the supervision of senior staff. The role is designed to build foundational technical capabilities and client service skills within the Restructuring & Recovery division, while contributing to the delivery of high‐quality, timely and accurate work.
Key Responsibilities Engagement Administration & Statutory Compliance
* Prepare receipt authorities, payment authorities, day‐one letters, statutory forms and related documentation.
* Assist with statutory reporting including ASIC, AFSA and other regulatory requirements.
* Undertake investigations assigned by senior staff, including financial and operational reviews.
* Assist with the preparation of reports to creditors and stakeholders, including financial and statutory information.
Fieldwork & Business Operations
* Assist with trade‐on of businesses including basic budgeting, cash‐flow support and monitoring.
* Conduct stocktakes and asset assessments.
* Assist in the realisation of assets and follow‐up of outstanding debtors.
* Undertake data entry, bookkeeping tasks and information collation.
Stakeholder Management
* Draft correspondence and act as a point of contact for creditors, employees, directors and other stakeholders under supervision.
* Liaise with external advisers including accountants, agents, auctioneers and solicitors.
* Attend meetings with senior staff where appropriate and assist in preparing meeting materials.
Financial & Commercial Analysis
* Conduct analysis of company financial statements and operational data.
* Assist in identifying commercial issues, risks and potential recovery strategies.
* Support the preparation of financial summaries, viability reviews and grant acquittals.
Business Development Support
* Assist with client engagement set‐up including preparation of engagement letters and appointment documentation.
* Maintain internal checklists, client databases and referral records.
* Build awareness of market trends and industry developments relevant to R&R.
About You Essential Qualifications
* 1–2 years' experience in a similar role (or relevant professional services environment).
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
* Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.

* Strong analytical and problem‐solving capability.
* A growth mindset and willingness to pursue further professional qualifications.
Education Requirements Essential
* Business / Commerce degree with an Accounting major or
* Law degree with an interest in insolvency and restructuring.
Desirable
* Commencement of CA or equivalent program.
