Quality Assurance Specialist Role
* Maintain quality control systems for laboratory certification.
* Develop and introduce new procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
* Supervise scientific, technical and administrative staff members.
* Facilitate communication with clinicians, vendors and external partners.
* Support research initiatives and education programs.
This position requires a motivated Quality Assurance Specialist who excels in a high-quality laboratory environment, possesses excellent leadership skills and thrives in managing quality systems while supporting accreditation, research and innovation.
About You
* Hold a Bachelor of Science or Applied Science degree in Medical Laboratory Science.
* Be eligible for associate or ordinary membership of ANZSRS.
* Have experience with pulmonary function testing and laboratory quality management.
* Apply analytical thinking to solve problems and improve processes.
* Communicate effectively with staff, clinicians and external partners.
