Maintenance Electrician – Packaging Manufacturing (Brand New Site) – Kemps Creek – Afternoon Shift: Monday to Friday, 2:00pm - 10:00pm – $67.20 - $72.00 per hour + Overtime (double time) + Super
We're partnering with a leading packaging manufacturer that has just launched a brand new site and is building a high-performing maintenance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a clean, highly automated workplace where your technical skills and input will genuinely make an impact.
Responsibilities
* Electrical maintenance, fault finding, and breakdown response
* Preventative and predictive maintenance across production lines
* Working with automated machinery, conveyors, and packaging equipment
* Diagnosing faults within PLC systems and supporting automation improvements
* Assisting with continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiency and reliability
* Collaborating closely with production and engineering teams
Qualifications
* NSW Electrical Licence (or equivalent)
* Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician within manufacturing (ideally FMCG or packaging)
* Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting ability
* Exposure to PLC systems (fault finding or basic programming highly regarded)
* Experience working with automated machinery and quick-paced production lines
* A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a focus on safety and reliability
