Job Summary
After Hours Clinical Nurse Manager – Fixed Term and Permanent Part‐time (up to 64 hours per fortnight, possible extensions). Salary: RN SRN Level 3 $137,294 p.a. pro rata, plus 12 % superannuation. Located at Karratha Health Campus, Pilbara.
Position Profile
Manage and coordinate a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, high‐quality clinical care after hours, oversee human and material resources, maintain environmental safety, and act as the local coordinator of Emergency Management until the designated response coordinator arrives.
Key Competencies / Qualifications
* Well‐developed clinical, managerial and leadership skills.
* Ability to coordinate and manage human and material resources to achieve agreed strategic outcomes.
* Effective written and verbal communication, negotiation, problem‐solving and conflict‐resolution skills.
* Advanced clinical knowledge and evidence‐based nursing practice in the relevant setting.
* Knowledge of the Medicines and Poisons Act 2014, Medicines and Poisons Regulations 2016 and the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law Act 2010.
* Experience applying clinical governance, continuous quality improvement, change management, clinical risk management and accreditation processes.
* Computer literacy and proficiency with information systems.
