Job Title: Project Officer
We are seeking an experienced professional to fill a key role in our project delivery management team. As a successful candidate, you will contribute to the delivery of multiple projects within our IT department.
* Your primary responsibilities will include managing regular project health-checks for various projects in the portfolio and maintaining accurate records.
* You will also be responsible for producing timely and comprehensive reports on project progress, including analysis and insights.
* In addition, you will facilitate education, induction, and training programs for project managers and provide assurance to senior leadership.
Main Responsibilities Include:
Project Health-Checks
You will manage regular project health-checks for multiple projects in the portfolio, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Reporting and Analysis
You will produce regular and ad-hoc reports and analysis on project progress, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.
Facilitating Training
You will design and deliver training programs for project managers, focusing on skills development and knowledge sharing.
Quality Assurance
You will ensure that all project work meets the required quality standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Requirements
* 5+ years' experience working within a PMO/DMO environment.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
* Degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience.
PREFERRED SKILLS
* Experience with Microsoft PowerBI Development.
