Payroll Officer – Casual Assignment (NFP Client)

Key Responsibilities
* Process end‑to‑end payroll accurately and on time for a diverse workforce
* Maintain employee records, contracts, leave balances, and position changes
* Ensure compliance with relevant awards, legislation, and internal policies
* Respond to payroll enquiries and provide clear, friendly support to staff
* Assist with payroll reporting, reconciliations, and data integrity checks
* Collaborate with finance and HR teams to resolve discrepancies
About You You will bring:
* Proven experience in payroll processing (NFP or multi‑site workforce desirable)
* Strong understanding of payroll legislation, awards, and entitlements
* Proficiency in payroll systems and Microsoft Office (Excel essential)
* Excellent accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail
* Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate clearly
* Ability to work effectively in a small, collaborative team environment
