ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Construction Accounts Officer to support the financial and administrative operations of the business. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who understands construction workflows, progress claims, job costing, retentions and supplier relationships.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- End-to-end accounts payable and receivable
- Managing supplier invoices, subcontractor payments, and reconciliations
- Preparing and issuing progress claims and monthly invoices using multiple financial account management programs
- Managing job costing, variations, and contract tracking for individual profit and loss reports
- Monitoring retentions, payment schedules, and debt collection
- Liaising with suppliers, builders, and internal stakeholders
ABOUT YOU
- Proven experience in construction or trade-based accounts
- Strong understanding of progress claims, retentions, and job costing
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Confident working independently and managing deadlines
