This is an exciting opportunity to step into the senior leadership role of Service Manager – Pilbara, providing operational and strategic guidance to deliver high-quality, professional, timely, and culturally appropriate services for children, young people, individuals, families, and communities across the region. You'll lead Pilbara service teams in trauma-informed, person-centred delivery aligned with Anglicare WA's vision of a just and fair Western Australia where everyone can thrive.

Reporting to the General Manager, Regional North Services, you will inspire a diverse team across multiple sites, fostering an inclusive culture focused on staff wellbeing, recruitment, onboarding, supervision, and professional development. Collaborating closely with Aboriginal-led organisations, Police, Department of Communities, WAPHA, Department of Health, and other stakeholders you'll build trusted partnerships to co-design responsive local services.

As a trusted leader and partner, you will:

* Provide operational and strategic leadership for best-practice service delivery, quality, compliance, and funder reporting.
* Develop collaborative relationships with internal teams and external partners to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
* Oversee budget planning, critical incident management, and opportunities for new programs in line with funding.
* Lead team culture, professional growth, and outcomes measurement to exceed service agreements.
* Champion community initiatives and Anglicare WA's strategic vision in the Pilbara.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based in Karratha.

About you

You are an experienced and values‐driven leader who is passionate about guiding teams to deliver high‐quality, person‐centred services. You thrive in dynamic environments, enjoy building strong connections with communities, and are committed to continuous improvement and innovation. With a focus on collaboration, cultural safety, and impact, you bring both strategic thinking and a hands‐on approach to leadership.

To be successful you will have:

* Tertiary Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related discipline, with specialist knowledge and experience relevant to the position
* Proven experience leading multidisciplinary or geographically dispersed teams, including recruitment, onboarding, supervision, and performance development.
* A strong track record in building high‐performing, cohesive, and inclusive teams.
* Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, monitor outcomes, and maintain high standards of data quality and reporting.
* Experience developing and managing productive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including community partners and funders.
* A collaborative and respectful leadership style that inspires trust, engagement, and shared purpose.

This role requires a current (or willingness to obtain) National Police Clearance, WA Working with Children Check, and a WA Drivers Licence. Please note that the organisation may seek to request an international police clearance if necessary.

* Starting salary is $126,480 per annum plus 12% superannuation
* Salary sacrifice up to $15,900 of pre tax income per year
* Additional 8 days of leave per year
