About the Role
Are you highly organised, proactive and passionate about keeping projects moving? We're looking for a
Pre-Construction Manager/Project Coordinator
to take ownership of the preconstruction process and ensure timely job starts across all projects.
In this pivotal role, you'll coordinate documentation, reports, and approvals, working closely with internal teams and external consultants to achieve permit readiness and smooth construction commencement. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love problem-solving, this is the role for you
What You'll Do
* Manage the job start pipeline and keep projects on track.
* Coordinate with Sales and Admin teams to complete pre-start requirements.
* Oversee contract coordination and support workflows.
* Engage and manage external consultants (design, engineering, soil testing, certification).
* Order and schedule reports and approvals for permits.
* Track milestones, identify potential delays, and implement solutions to keep projects moving.
* Maintain accurate records and provide regular updates to management.
* Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental standards at all times.
What We're Looking For
* Demonstrated experience in coordination roles such as project coordination, scheduling, administration, or operations support.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
* High attention to detail and strong follow-through.
* Excellent communication skills and confidence liaising with internal teams and external consultants.
* Problem-solving mindset with ability to identify and resolve bottlenecks.
* Current Driver's Licence (mandatory)
Desirable:
* Experience in residential building or construction administration.
* Familiarity with preconstruction processes and consultant coordination.

Working Conditions
Full-time, Monday to Friday (38 hours per week), with flexibility required during periods of abnormal workload.
