About The Role
As an
Environmental Services Assistant
, you will be essential in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the hospital. Your attention to detail and commitment to service will help ensure a safe and positive experience for our patients, visitors and staff.
We are particularly interested in candidates who are computer literate, well-organised, and confident coordinating daily tasks. You will work closely with a supportive team who truly live our commitment to "People Caring for People".
Key responsibilities include:
* Delivering and maintaining high standards of cleanliness across all hospital areas, including wards and operating theatres.
* Ensuring equipment used during your shift is cleaned, restocked, and stored correctly.
* Supporting a collaborative and respectful workplace culture.
* Communicating effectively with nursing staff and other stakeholders to help achieve positive clinical outcomes.
What You'll Bring
* Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping (healthcare experience is an advantage).
* A strong customer service focus and a friendly, can-do attitude.
* Excellent attention to detail and pride in your work.
* Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
* Commitment to safety, hygiene, and infection control standards.
