Hilton Darwin is seeking a motivated & experienced Guest Relations Manager to oversee day-to-day Front Office operations and manage the team during your shift to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
About the role
As Guest Relations Manager, you will be responsible for managing the hotel team on your shift, ensuring a safe, happy, and productive work environment by coordinating hotel operations and making every guest feel cared for, valued, and respected. Your role involves inspiring the team to deliver exceptional experiences for all guests.
Responsibilities
* Manage customer service on the Front Desk during your shift, ensuring all guests feel cared for and valued.
* Lead the team in implementing Hilton's vision and values.
* Manage front office staff schedules and rosters.
* Proactively resolve guest issues or complaints, encouraging team initiative.
* Maintain shift logbooks to ensure smooth communication between shifts.
* Lead by example in hospitality and guest service, being visible and approachable.
* Handle emergency situations as needed.
* Collaborate with other hotel departments to enhance guest experience.
* Assist in recruiting, training, and developing the Front Office team.
* Perform reception duties as required.
Skills & Experience
* At least 3 years of supervisory experience in Front Office within hotel, leisure, retail, or related fields.
* Minimum 2 years of on-the-job training or AQF Cert IV qualification.
* Professional manner with a focus on Hilton's hospitality standards.
* Positive attitude, excellent communication, and conflict resolution skills.
* High customer service standards and grooming.
* Calm, organized, and detail-oriented with multitasking abilities.
