We have immediate demand across Ballarat, Central Goldfields, Golden Plains, Moorabool, Ararat, Hepburn Shire, Mount Alexander Shire, Horsham, Geelong, Colac Otway and the broader Central Highlands, with opportunities for ongoing work and upskilling.

Founded in Ballarat, BCivil Recruitment is the largest locally owned traffic control operator servicing the Ballarat region. Since 2018, we have delivered traffic management services to councils, contractors and major projects across Western Victoria.
We are a VicRoads-accredited Traffic Management company, approved to operate across Road Categories 1, 2 and 3, with operations spanning Ballarat, the Central Highlands and surrounding regional areas. Our work is supported by a modern fleet and a strong focus on compliance, safety and reliable service delivery —local knowledge, regional reach.
About the Roles
As a Traffic Controller or TMA Driver with BCivil Recruitment, you will play a key role in delivering safe, compliant and professional traffic management services in line with approved Traffic Guidance Schemes and company procedures.
* Traffic Controllers support the implementation of Traffic Guidance Schemes, manage traffic flows and maintain clear communication to protect workers, road users and the public.
* TMA Drivers operate Truck Mounted Attenuators in accordance with approved plans, providing critical protection on live roads and supporting work crews.
Both roles require professionalism, reliability, strong situational awareness and a commitment to safety.
What We're Looking For
Traffic Controllers:
* Current Victorian Traffic Control accreditation (TC1/TMI1 or higher)
* Construction White Card (CPCWHS1001 or equivalent)
* Current Victorian Driver's Licence
TMA Drivers:
* Current Victorian Traffic Control accreditation
* MR licence (essential)
* Experience operating TMAs (preferred; training may be available)

* Strong focus on safety, compliance and following procedures
* Reliable, punctual and professional work ethic
* Ability to remain alert and focused in high-risk environments
* Good communication skills (UHF radio experience preferred)
* Willingness to work as part of a team and follow direction
