Urban Planning Strategist
We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead strategic planning workstreams across multidisciplinary projects in policy, transport, energy, environment, and infrastructure.
This role involves integrating sustainability and policy insight into urban, regional, and socio-economic projects. The successful candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in urban planning, city economics, and transport planning within a consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead planning inputs across projects, ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes.
* Represent the organization in internal and external meetings, working directly with clients to understand and respond to complex urban challenges.
* Contribute to business development through proposal preparation and tender responses.
* Guide and support junior team members, fostering a high-performance culture.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Strong knowledge of the NSW planning framework, policies, and guidelines.
* Tertiary qualification in Urban and Regional Planning or a related field.
