Support Worker Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. As a key member of our support team, you will play a vital role in providing daily living tasks support, enabling customers to live independently and holistically.
The successful candidate will have the ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds, promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being. You will provide personal care and hygiene support, assist with everyday activities around the home, and chaperone activities outside the home environment.
* Daily Living Tasks Support: Assist customers with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Personal Care and Hygiene Support: Provide personal care and hygiene support, including assistance with toileting and continence management.
* Community-Based Activities: Chaperone and assist customers with activities outside the home environment, promoting social interaction and community engagement.
Requirements
* Certificate III in Individual Support: Hold a minimum qualification of a Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent.
* Disability Support Experience: Have at least one year of experience working as a Disability Support Worker.
* Driver's License and Vehicle: Possess a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and comprehensive insurance.
* Clearances and Certifications: Hold NDIS clearance, First Aid certification, CPR certification, and National police clearance (or willingness to obtain).
