About The Role
We are seeking applications from Social workers who will work both independently and as part of our dedicated multidisciplinary team working with inpatients, outpatients and throughout the community.

The Social Worker is a valued member of the multidisciplinary healthcare team within the Wellington Health Service. There is a strong focus on discharge planning within the team and the Social Worker plays a vital part in this process. Collegiate support will be provided by the Social Work team based at Dubbo Health Service.
Wellington Health Service is a busy 12-bed facility that includes a 24-hour Emergency Department and a range of Primary and Community Health services.
Wellington is the second oldest town west of the Blue Mountains and is located 350km from Sydney and is just over an hour from the picturesque town of Orange in the state's Central West. The nearest Base Hospital is Dubbo Health Service, approximately 50km from the town.
