What we are looking for:
We're seeking a skilled Plant Operator to join our Capital Delivery or Operations team.
This role supports road and drainage construction and maintenance across the Fraser Coast.
You'll be joining a collaborative team that values safety, initiative, and service.
What your day will look like:
Operate Council's Flocon Truck and other heavy plant
Perform construction and maintenance tasks
Conduct daily inspections and basic servicing of equipment
Maintain plant cleanliness and safety
Complete timesheets and activity records
Deliver excellent customer service while representing Council professionally

What you'll need for success:
MR Driver's Licence
Construction Induction Training (White Card)
Extensive experience operating plant and fleet for roads/drainage
Understanding of urban/rural construction and maintenance
Basic oral and written communication skills
Strong commitment to WH&S and teamwork
Ability to follow work programs and work under general supervision
What's nice to have:
Additional plant operation tickets (eg. forklift, skid steer, hydraulic platform)
