At St Clare's OSHC, we offer a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for children before and after school, as well as during school holidays up to 114 children. Key Responsibilities
* Assist the Centre Manager in the day-to-day operations of the service, including program planning, delivery, and documentation
* Staff supervision
* Administration and financial management tasks
* Assist in the delivery of a high quality, inclusive, educational program
* Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment
* Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families
* Participate in professional and personal development
* Consent to be the Responsible Person on site in the absence of the Centre Manager
* Promote the service within the local community in accordance with the Vision, Mission and Values of Centacare Child Care Services
Job Requirements
* An ACECQA-approved Diploma qualification or willingness or working towards including studies in education, community services, health, therapy, sports, or creative arts
* Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis
* Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place framework and National Law/Regulations
* Experience in the education and care of children
* Effective computer skills including experience with childcare management software (Xplor preferred)
* Effective workplace communication and leadership skills
