We are seeking an experienced Materials Transport Driver to join our fleet team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering materials to internal concrete plants and external job sites.
Reporting to the Fleet Manager, you will work in a fast-paced environment requiring effective communication and problem-solving skills.
* Loading and delivering materials as directed by the manager.
* Maintaining a safe and efficient driving record.
About the Role
* Competitive hourly rate with penalty rates applicable after 8 hours worked.
* Opportunity to base yourself at either Emerald or Mackay depending on your location.
* Company-provided PPE and uniform.
* Reliable and well-maintained equipment available for use.
Requirements include:
* A valid MC or HC licence is essential.
* Previous experience operating semi-trucks and dog combinations is advantageous but not required.
* Self-motivated and result-driven individual with excellent time management skills.
* A front-end loader ticket is highly regarded.
* Good understanding of the transport industry.
* Ability to learn and progress within the company.
