Job Title: Lifeguard Role Summary
We are seeking motivated and proactive individuals to join our team as Lifeguards at the YMCA Recreation centres in Victoria. As a key member of our aquatic team, you will play a critical role in ensuring a safe swimming environment for all pool users.
This is a casual position requiring excellent interpersonal skills, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to make decisions under pressure.
* Maintain effective communication with patrons to prevent accidents and promote safe aquatic practices.
* Carry out interventions and take preventative actions to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all users.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
* Aquatic Pool Lifeguard Certificate or equivalent qualification.
* HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and HLTAID011 Provide First Aid certification.
* Excellent customer service skills and conflict resolution abilities.
