Sales and Merchandising
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual who can drive sales through effective merchandising strategies, promotional activities, and by staying updated with market trends. Key responsibilities include implementing and monitoring sales goals, managing inventory, and maintaining store standards.
Customer Service
The face of our store, you will be responsible for handling all customer interactions with professionalism and care. This includes resolving customer complaints effectively to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Leadership and Team Management
You will be responsible for recruiting, training, scheduling, and supervising staff to ensure they meet performance standards and provide excellent customer service. Fostering a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and staff development is essential.
Financial Management
As a Retail Manager, you will be responsible for managing store finances, controlling costs, and working towards achieving financial targets. This includes managing cash, banking, and daily sales reporting.
Compliance and Risk Management
You will ensure compliance with all health, safety, legal, and company regulations. This includes maintaining pharmacy standards if applicable, managing pharmacist schedules, and ensuring prescription services run smoothly.
Key Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Retail Manager, preferably within a pharmacy environment.
* Strong leadership, team-building, and communication skills.
* Retail knowledge, including inventory management and customer service excellence.

Education and Experience:

Compensation and Benefits:
* Competitive hourly rate of $32 - $36 per hour.
* Flexible full-time position requiring availability for 5 days a week, potentially including weekends.
* Must be willing to travel to Maleny daily if not local to the area.
