Marine Services Coordinator – Berthing Facility – Darwin N.T
As a Marine Services Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in managing and coordinating marine service operations at a Toll Berthing Facility. You'll work closely with service technicians, internal teams, and external stakeholders to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant marine activities across the wharf, ports and sites.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
* Coordinate daily marine operations at a berthing facility including vessel movements, refuelling of vessels and infrastructure maintenance.
* Ensure compliance with maritime safety regulations and protocols.
* Liaise with government departments, port authorities, and regulatory bodies.
* Maintain accurate service records, logs and operational reports.
* Support marine-related projects including infrastructure upgrades and environmental initiatives.
* Facilitate site entry, mobilisation and emergency response coordination.
* Prepare facilities for inspections and audits.
What You'll Bring
* Proven experience in marine operations, logistics or naval operations.
* Strong knowledge of maritime laws, health and safety standards and marine coordination software.
* Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage complex schedules.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and managing systems and documentation of sensitive information.
* Calm under pressure with a proactive and analytical mindset.
Security Requirements
* Must be an Australian Citizen for Defence Security Clearances.
* AGSVA Baseline Clearance (Australian Government Security Vetting Agency).
* Department of Home Affairs ESC Clearance (Employment Security Clearance).
