About The Role
Communications Manager, Project Lead. Hands‐on role at the heart of a major transformation program within BOQ's Retail Bank. Work closely with the Senior Product Manager, Transformation, owning end‐to‐end communications for a large‐scale banking migration and enabling customers and frontline teams to navigate complex product and platform changes with clarity.
Lead design and delivery of customer and staff communications across multiple channels, from email, SMS and direct mail to FAQs, landing pages, in‐app messaging and internal content. Translate complex product and regulatory change into clear, plain‐English messaging that puts the customer first.
Manage communications across multiple migration cohorts and key moments (before, during and after migration), ensuring messages are clear, well‐sequenced, consistent and timely. Partner with Legal and Compliance to ensure every communication is accurate, approved and fit for purpose.
Responsibilities
* Design and deliver communication plans and creative assets for customer and staff audiences.
* Coordinate with Product, Change, Digital, Marketing, Contact Centre and Risk teams to translate complex change into plain language.
* Maintain a governance and risk register for all communications, working with Legal and Compliance.
* Ensure timely and accurate delivery of communications across cohorts and key moments.
Qualifications & Experience
* Proven experience delivering customer communications in complex or regulated environments.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills; passion for plain language and customer‐first messaging.
* Project management experience owning end‐to‐end communication programs, timelines and approvals.
* Organised, structured and able to juggle multiple workstreams while maintaining focus on the customer experience.
* Experience in financial services or large transformation programs is highly regarded.
