Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven leader to join our team as a Concrete Plant Manager.
* Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team to deliver exceptional service and operational excellence.
* Take full ownership of day-to-day plant operations, including safety, production, sales, and customer service.
* Drive financial performance through effective cost control, budgeting, and P&L management.
* Foster and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring a high level of service and responsiveness to meet and exceed expectations.
* Actively pursue new business opportunities and work collaboratively with the Sales Manager to achieve growth targets.
* Monitor market activity and regional trends to provide insights and maintain a competitive edge.
* Champion a strong safety culture, driving continuous improvement and compliance with all safety and environmental standards.
* Promote a collaborative and positive team environment focused on accountability, development, and success.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Proven track record of successfully leading and developing teams, with a strong commitment to coaching and growth.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with customers, peers, and stakeholders.
* Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and achieving operational excellence.
* Strong financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, and month-end reporting.
* Able to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and make sound, timely decisions.
* Natural problem solver with excellent planning, organisational, and prioritisation skills.
* Demonstrates resilience, adaptability, and a proactive leadership style.
