Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with mental health conditions. Conduct detailed patient assessments and develop individualised care plans. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by mental health practitioners. Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting care plans as necessary. Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care. Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatments, and coping strategies. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including care plans and progress notes. Adhere to mental health policies, protocols, and safety standards. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing. Licensure: Current active registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in mental health nursing. Certification: Certification in mental health nursing is highly desirable. Vaccinations: Up-to-date with annual flu and COVID-19 vaccinations. Work Rights: Must have full work rights in Australia or can be sponsored.
