Role
Sante Recruitment is seeking a Principal House Officer (PHO) in Obstetrics & Gynaecology to join the dedicated team at Bundaberg Hospital, a teaching hospital affiliated with the University of Queensland Rural Clinical School.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, effective, and equitable care to women and families in consultation with consultants, visiting specialists, nurses and allied health professionals.
- Participate in antenatal, intrapartum, postnatal and gynaecological care.
- Support medical student education and contribute to the University of Queensland’s clinical teaching program.
- Play an active role in upgrading medical education and promoting quality improvement initiatives.
This is an outstanding opportunity to gain diverse O&G; experience in a regional teaching hospital environment, supported by senior consultants and a multidisciplinary team.

About You
- MBBS or equivalent, eligible for registration with AHPRA.
- Completion of at least two years of postgraduate training (PHO level).
- Demonstrated commitment to women’s health, teamwork and patient-centred care.
- An interest in teaching and developing clinical skills in a supportive, regional setting.
