We're looking for a Payroll & Accounts Payable Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll processing and AP functions across our Australian and play a supportive role in our UK operations.This is a dynamic role that ensures team members are paid accurately and on time while also keeping our accounts payable processes running smoothly.Key Responsibilities:PayrollManage end-to-end payroll processing for Australian team members and support our third-party payroll team in the UK.Ensure compliance with relevant payroll legislation, awards, and enterprise agreements.Handle salary packaging, payroll tax reporting, superannuation, and statutory deductions.Respond to payroll and leave-related queries in a timely and professional manner.Accounts Payable:Process all accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently throughout the month.Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.Ensure timely payments and compliance with internal controls and procedures.Compliance & Reporting:Manage payroll tax reporting and lodgements for Australia.Own and manage workers compensation processes and reporting.What We’re Looking For:5 years of proven experience in payroll processing for Australia (UK payroll experience is a plus).Solid understanding of Australian payroll legislation, tax, and compliance.Experience in accounts payable or broader finance roles.High attention to detail and a commitment to confidentiality.Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise across teams and respond to employee queries.Proficiency with payroll and accounting systems (e.g. Xero, Employment Hero, or similar).Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.What's in it for you?
