About the role:In this pivotal role, you will partner closely with clinical teams, ICT and wider business stakeholders to optimise systems, enhance processes and deliver technology solutions that support efficiency, compliance and high-quality care. Be responsible for maintaining clinical business systems to ensure they remain fit-for-purpose and aligned with organisational needs, while building strong relationships and providing expert guidance across the organisation.
A key focus of the role is working collaboratively to map, analyse and improve business processes across multiple departments, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Your day-to-day will involve:
* Managing system integrity and security, including auditing, monitoring and user access administration, while overseeing system performance and identifying optimisation opportunities
* Providing technical support to users, troubleshooting issues, delivering training and maintaining end-user learning content
* Coordinating system changes, upgrades and configuration activities in line with ICT change control processes
* Gathering and prioritising business requirements, and identifying automation or integration opportunities to enhance efficiency and service delivery
* Contributing to ICT projects by implementing and configuring clinical and non-clinical applications, and developing testing and change plans to ensure smooth adoption of new functionality
About you:You are a proactive and collaborative systems specialist who is passionate about enhancing clinical and business outcomes through technology. With strong business analysis capability including requirements gathering, process mapping and change management, you translate business needs into practical system and process improvements.
You work confidently across multiple teams, building strong relationships and engaging effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Your experience in process optimisation, system enhancements and working with external vendors and support partners enables you to thrive in environments that value innovation, service excellence and continuous improvement.
To be successful, you will have:
* Minimum 3+ years' experience in a similar business systems, business analyst or process improvement role
* Tertiary qualification in IT, Business, Clinical or a related field
* Experience maintaining or configuring business applications and supporting enterprise systems
* Experience with Power-BI (or similar business intelligence tool) would be beneficial
* Familiarity with clinical applications (e.g. Telstra Health Residential & Clinical Manager, PainChek, BestMed, My Aged Care, Nursecall)
* Understanding of data governance and compliance within regulated environments
